About

My name is Richard Walker and I created this site to help you make your handmade items better, more efficiently, and to help you sell them online. I have been making things with my hands for as long as I have been alive have learned a lot techniques and tricks over the years.

My knowledge comes from years of practice and experimentation. An avid researcher, I purchase every book and tutorial I can get my hands on when I am looking to learn something new. One thing that has been very obvious is that it is very easy to read everything and still not know the very basics or understand the big picture. My goal is to show you the ins and outs of making and selling handmade items so you can enjoy more of the rewarding aspects rather than endure years of trial and error and costly mistakes.

Over the years I have built thousands of sculptures and custom projects. I have always been a one man operation, doing all the designing, building, shipping, marketing, photography, and website building. The internet has allowed me to sell my handmade items to more than 40 states, including Alaska. I ship to Canada regularly and have also sent items to the Netherlands, Singapore, Italy, Puerto Rico, the UK, and Argentina.

My Interests Include:

Metal fabrication and welding

Building stainless steel sculptures

Exercising and Backpacking

Classic car restoration

Dirt bikes (motorcycles) / Mountain biking

Entrepreneurship and Small Business

Here are some examples of my creations and a photo of me on an 80 mile backpacking trip:
